On June 27-28, 2012 the FDA will impanel its Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Devices Panel of the Medical Devices Advisory Committee in Gaithersburg, MD. According to the FDA, “ the agency is seeking additional expert scientific and clinical advice on the risks and benefits of these devices so that the agency can continue to make reliable safety recommendations to patients and health care providers.”
